Ancient cultures have long marked the Winter Solstice as a sacred turning point in the year, a special day, in which the darkest days come to a close and the sunlight returns. With the return of the sun comes a promise from Nature of renewal and growth. Attune with the natural slow, calm, inward energy of the Winter Solstice during this unique concert with live meditative sounds of quartz crystal singing bowls and finely tuned gongs in a special outdoor concert within the redwoods, fresh air, and soft light. Embrace a place beyond words as the sounds immerse you and gently connect to your deepest self during the darkest night of the year.
The Winter Solstice is a celebration of nocturnal delight, a magnetic time to incubate on what you'd like to draw forward and what is best left behind. . Feel your own energy reserves revive as you emerge with clarity, focus, and steady direction for the final phase of the year.
No yoga will be practiced, simply wear comfortable clothes and bring layers, blankets, and anything that can make sitting more ease filled. No meditation experience needed. All ages and peoples welcome.
All program fees include admission to the Garden (a $12 value per adult).
Cancellation Policy: Notification 2 weeks prior to program receives full refund; less than 2 weeks receives a one-time credit toward another Garden program to be used within 90 days; cancellation less than 48 hours receives no credit. In the event that the Garden has to cancel a program you will be offered a full refund.
