Winter Conifer Trees (Choose at the Garden or Online)

This event is no longer on sale.

Saturday December 6

10:30 AM  –  11:30 AM

Celebrate the trees of the season! Join us for a Saturday morning presentation—either at the Garden or online— highlighting the Garden’s remarkable collection of conifers from around the world with horticulturist Eric Hupperts. Pines, cedars, redwoods, spruce, juniper, cypress, and more unusual cone-bearing trees will be explored during his slideshow and interactive presentation. He'll share the beauty, breadth, and distinguishing features of these trees, many with ancient lineages. Conifers bring us the world's tallest, the most massive, and the oldest living things on Earth. Get to know these noble plants in a richer way. In-person participants will go home with a decorative evergreen bundle!

After the talk, we invite you to stroll through the Garden on a self-guided Conifer Walk numbered tour. This brochure will be available at the Kiosk December 6 through January 4. Come enjoy winter in the Garden!
