Plein AiR Patrol with Forest Stearns

The Garden is thrilled to partner with artist Forest Stearns of DRAWEVERYWHERE Studios who is hosting an interactive Artist in Residency (AiR) project, Plein AiR Patrol, at the Garden. Once a month, Forest serves as host for a meet-up of artists at any level (beginners to experienced) to engage in a regular practice of outdoor drawing/painting inspired by the diverse settings of the UC Botanical Garden. Forest chooses the date with the Garden locale revealed during check-in.

During the meet-up you can shadow Forest in action and ask questions, discover other artists' style and approach, work on your own piece, share in practice, and see the Garden in new ways.

UCBG Members receive free access and can enter during Member's Only Hour, 9:00am - 10:00am. Other participants must pay the admission fee (in advance below or at the Gate) and can enter beginning at 10:00am.
