Mushrooms in the Garden
Join us for a walk and talk on local mushrooms that occur in our Bay Area woods, lawns and, of course, gardens. We will walk the diverse collections of the Botanical Garden and see which fungi are showing themselves, while noting their tree or plant companions. Get to know a variety of these beautiful and ephemeral living organisms!
This walk will be led by Cat Callaway, the UCBG horticulturist for Ethnobotanical Collections.
The route may include a variety of terrains. Please direct accessibility questions to gardenprograms@berkeley.edu.
