FAMILY PROGRAM: BUG EATERS- All about Carnivorous Plants
This event is no longer on sale.
Family members of all ages are invited to discover some of the fascinating and beautiful plants that can eat insects. From the familiar Venus flytrap to the exotic bladderwort, get a close up view of their amazing leaf adaptations as you learn more about them. We'll look at a dozen different kinds of plants, including our California native "cobra plant" Darlingtonia californica, and see a trap in action. Each child takes home a pet plant.
Children must be accompanied by a paid registered adult.
(Registration includes Garden admission!)
