The newly released book Botanical Art Techniques, published by ASBA and Timber Press has been an unexpected hit, selling out its first printing in a couple weeks, with its second edition on hand now. Join book co-editor Carol Woodin for a backstage tour through selected sections of the book, and discussion of how the project was conceived, how editors managed materials from about 70 different contributors, and what steps took the book from its draft form to the final product.

The American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA) is an organization with about 1900 members in the US and 35 other countries, whose mission is to provide a thriving, interactive community dedicated to the tradition and contemporary practice of botanical art.
