This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday October 9

4:00 PM  –  6:00 PM

Mezcal is a delicious distilled beverage made from a number of agave species native to Mexico. We are delighted to feature the diversity of mezcals at our 2nd installment of 'Around the World in 6 Glasses.' We'll learn all about agaves with Garden horticulturist for the Deserts of the Americas Basil Medeiros while tasting a variety of mezcals with the Mezcalistas. There will be festive nibbles to go along with the tasting.

An ongoing series of 6 evening events in the Garden (3 in 2016 and 3 in 2017) highlighting our globally diverse collection while imbibing regional beverages and bites from local purveyors.

All program fees include admission to the Garden (a $10 value per adult). Cancellation Policy: Notification 2 weeks prior to program receives full refund; less than 2 weeks receives a one-time credit toward another Garden program to be used within 90 days; cancellation less than 48 hours receives no credit. In the event that the Garden has to cancel a program you will be offered a full refund.
