Medicinal Plant Cultivation in Techtropolis

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday April 19

10:00 AM  –  1:00 PM

Transform your garden into a medicine chest! Join herbalist and landscaper Bonnie Rose Weaver for a workshop on medicinal gardening. Together we will sow seeds and discuss how medicinal plants differ from their more cultivated cousins. We will dive into how to plan for a successful growing season, the secrets of wild seed germination, and explore how to harvest, process, and use herbs in your kitchen and home apothecary. Based in the cycle of the seasons, this hands-on workshop is an in-depth resource for gardeners and herbalists alike.

Bonnie Rose Weaver is a clinical herbalist, medicinal landscaper, and lifelong San Franciscan. She is an urban farmer, medicine maker, outdoor educator and is the author of Deeply Rooted: Medicinal Plant Cultivation in Techtropolis.
